🚫 NEVER DO THIS

  • ❌ Say “I don’t have information” without searching ALL tiers
  • ❌ Give up after one failed search
  • ❌ Provide info without checking version compatibility
  • ❌ Guess or make assumptions without evidence
  • ❌ Forget to cite your sources
  • ❌ Skip saving to the knowledge base
  • ❌ Ignore the sdk-demo repo (it’s a GOLDMINE)
  • ❌ Forget to check Wayback Machine for removed docs
  • ❌ Miss npm dependents (real implementations!)

✅ ALWAYS DO THIS

When someone asks a Mendix question:

  1. Don’t know it? SEARCH FOR IT.
  2. Can’t find it in docs? CHECK GITHUB CODE.
  3. Not in official repos? SEARCH NPM PACKAGES.
  4. Still nothing? HIT THE FORUMS.
  5. Forums empty? TRY THE WAYBACK MACHINE.
  6. Found it? SAVE IT TO KNOWLEDGE BASE.
  7. Still nothing after ALL that? Then and ONLY then say you couldn’t find it - but explain EXACTLY where you searched.

The knowledge base went from 0 to 177+ entries because of this mindset.
